Renato Fantoni

Executive coach with extensive experience both with small and large organisations. Renato branched out into coaching/mentoring and training when he realised that helping people to develop was the most creative activity in business.


He has worked with executives and company owners and has been involved on a long-term coaching project for the Post Office Limited. His technique is grounded and clients relax in the knowledge that he does not use any tricks of the trade. He describes his style as 'listening with measure'.

Renato writes a regular agony uncle column in Travel Bulletin as the Travel Coach and contributes to Professional Manager magazine. His selection of motivational speeches is called "Business Kicks" and inspire delegates to look at their working lives through the metaphors of sport. Renato is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and the Professional Speakers Association


Hoda Lacey

Hoda Lacey provides performance development solutions for organisations. With over 15 years in the travel industry, including many at director level, she has first hand experience in personal and professional development.


Specialising in management development, coaching and mentoring, she has a Masters Degree in Personal and Organisational Development, and is a qualified NLP coach. She has acted as mentor for people in a wide variety of positions.
She is the author of How to Resolve Conflict in the Workplace, and is a regular columnist with the Travel Trade Gazette and a contributor to Travel Bulletin.


Alessandra Alonso

Alessandra Alonso has extensive professional experience in strategy, marketing and communication, holding senior roles in leading organisations such as KPMG, tourism infrastructure developer AHT and global industry forum the World Travel and Tourism Council.


At SHINE P&P she holds the position of Business Development Director. Over the years, Alessandra has become increasingly interested in the area of people's development within organisations, particularly in the tourism industry, where staff retention, staff motivation and the development of talent are areas of crucial importance. This interest led her to extensive research in the area of women and personal/professional development and to a qualification with the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring.

Alessandra is a regular speaker at industry conferences and has lectured in prestigious universities in the UK, Switzerland and France. She holds a first class degree in Management Studies from Florence University, an MSc in European Studies from the London School of Economics and an executive MBA from the ENPC School of Management in Paris.


Gaby Marcon

Gaby Marcon is a highly experienced Marketing and PR professional with a strong travel and tourism background, having run her own tour operating business.

She has run her own tour operating business and worked as a consultant in Marketing & PR for the travel and cultural industries. During this time she started a mentoring scheme for young tourism professional on behalf of the Tourism Society, which led to extensive research and study on the subject of coach/mentoring and to a qualification with the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring.

Subsequently she set up SHINE PEOPLE&PLACES Ltd, together with Alessandra Alonso, with the position of Product Development Director. Gaby graduated in English at the University of Foreign Languages in Italy; she subsequently trained at the British College of Marketing, London and at the College for the Distributive Trades; in 1999 she graduated from Birkbeck College in the History of Art and in the year 2000 completed a Master Degree at City University in Museum and Gallery Management


Elizabeth Pratt

Elizabeth Pratt joined Shine People&Places after running her own consultancy for 5 years. An experience project manager and consultant, she has over 14 years of experience working in the fields of Tourism and Economic Development, but has worked with clients from a wide range of sectors.

She specialises in developing and successfully delivering projects, particularly in areas that involve both the public and private sectors. Her skills are in developing innovative, simple solutions to problems, putting together the right team with relevant experience to deliver practical solutions.Prior to joining Shine P&P, Elizabeth run her own consultancy, was a Senior Partner at Kingfisher Research and the UK Director of an American consultancy.
